The Radiation Protection Authority is the national regulatory body established under the Radiation Protection Act No. 46 of 2003, with main objective to regulate and control all practices involving the use of ionising radiation.

Our Mission

To protect people and the environment against the harmful effects of ionising radiation through an effective regulatory system.
